Nothing else worked
My son has damage to his kidneys from chemotherapy he received for a malignant pediatric brain tumor. We tried all the other magnesium supplements but could not get his blood level into the normal range and he was taking massive doses which caused diarrhea. Since starting Mag SR, his blood levels are in the normal range and he has to take a lot less pills.
Great product- Excellent Value
I have to take this as I had a pituitary tumor removed. I need the replacement Magnesium and this product gives me the extended release that I need. I buy the 1000 size because it is the best value that I can find. Much cheaper than I used to get in town and it is delivered to my door.
Works Well for Gitelman's Patients
My daughters have Gitelman's Syndrome and require magnesium supplementation (along with potassium). They both use the Mag-Tab SR and it works very well for them. It can keep their magnesium level in normal range. I purchase the 1,000 caplet bottle to be most cost effective. Each daughter goes through about one 1,000 caplet container in four months. Thanks for offering this product in large quantities.
hard to swallow
the physician recommended it, but taking 4 pills makes them hardest to swallow. I wish the product was available in power form

Excellent Value
My wife has been taking Mag-Tab for several years. Some years ago we learned we could buy in the 1000 tablet container thus saving a lot of money. Mag-Tab was prescribed by her cardiologist because of low level magnesium in her system. She used to get migraine headaches but since starting on Mag-Tab no more migraines.
Great value and quality
If you need to take a consistent higher does of Mag-Tab SR this size container is for you. My lab results have shown that my magnesium levels remain at a great level.
