Mag-Tab SR
I had been taking Magnesium Malate in an effort to eliminate muscle cramps, especially nighttime leg cramps. This was not successful. My doctor suggested Mag-Tab SR. This sustained release formulation has been 100% effective in eliminating cramps and improving my muscle function. I feel much more fluid when working out and no longer have post-workout cramps. Great product!
Works for me!
I have multiple digestive disorders and difficulty finding supplements that I can tolerate. This one was recommended by a doctor many years ago and I’ve been using it ever since. I’ve occasionally tried other Mg supplements and had allergic or other reactions to them. This one works. My Mg levels, both serum and cellular always test in range as well. It’s a tad more expensive than some, but well worth it for effectiveness and tolerability.

I have found Magnesium Lactate to be the most effective form of Magnesium and have been taking Mag-Tab for several years. I also appreciated when ordering 1 bottle of 1000 tablets being sent 10 bottles of 100 at no additional cost.
Mag-Tab SR 1000 Count Bottle
I've tried various types of magnesium and these are the only one I can take for a prolonged period of time without experiencing diarrhea. I take four and sometimes five pills throughout the day to help get me into the normal range for magnesium. Even then, I'm barely in it. I'm usually at 1.1 or lower. The only small issue that occurred with this order is that the 1000 count bottle I ordered was delivered as 10 - 100 count bottles. No big deal, just a bit surprised when I opened the box upon delivery. Other than that, I'm pleased with my purchase.
Effective
As I've said before, Im willing to pay up for this product because it really is more bioavailble. I first tried magnesium oxide. Cheap, available, but didn’t raise my serum magnesium significantly nor sufficiently. Tried some other mag formulations - same result. But four Mag-Tabs SR a day keep me "normal". To avoid another seizure I'll pay the high price.
Good Solution
Since having triple bypass surgery I have been taking large amounts of magnesium. Buying the 1000 count bottle provides the best value to meet my needs since insurance will not cover any of the cost even though my doctor prescribes it.
