Great helping me
Years ago my magnesium levels were low and no matter what we tried I could'nt keep them up effectively. He recommended a sow release Mag supplement. I have been using these for quite a while with happy lipid panel results twice yearly. I use 6 per day so this large size fits my other RX's quite well. Thanks Niche
Mag-Tab SR
As a Crohn's patient with short bowel syndrome and a diverting colostomy I must be careful with anything that might increase loose stools. I need magnesium as a preventative for a chronic kidney stone problem. I found that Mag-Tab SR does not have the laxative effect of regular magnesium and is better absorbed.
Gitelman's syndrome
This is the only firm if magnesium that can get me close to a normal level. Every other product I have tried only gets me a very low magnesium level, which is dangerous and can cause other health issues. Among the myriad of things that magnesium supports in your body is mental health and sleep. I have been taking Mag-Tab SR for 25 years to moderate mood swings caused by hormonal imbalance as recommended by my doctor. It has brought stability to those imbalances, including uncontrollable crying and extended bouts of depression, and therefore has brought stability to my life. I also make sure I take split my daily dosage between morning and evening because I have difficulty with sleep and it helps with that as well. I can NOT imagine my life without it. I am always completely satisfied with this product. I have been taking 2 tablets in the morning and two at night since my physician recommended this dosage years ago. I am happy to see that there is no longer color added to the tablets.
